Bringing Fun to EMS

Limmer Creative, a leading app publisher in the EMS and allied health space, and EMS World, a Cygnus company and a leading publisher in the Public Safety markets, have collaborated to create a co-branded app for National EMS Week called Med Benders: EMS World Edition.

The free app is designed to generate humorous stories from common EMS situations. Users enter random words when prompted by the app (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.) and the program inserts the words creating hilarious results. Users will be able to post their creations directly to social media sites.

“We are pleased to work again with EMS World,” said Stephanie Limmer, CEO of Limmer Creative. “They have a strong following in the EMS field. Their quality and name recognition in EMS are a great match for our app.”

A contest will run through the end of EMS week. Users who post their Med Benders to Facebook will be entered in a drawing to win free admission to the EMS World Expo conference in Nashville November 11-13, 2014, an Android tablet and Limmer Creative apps. Contest details can be found at:

Scott Cravens, Publisher of EMS World and an EMT himself, notes, “We would like to show our appreciation to all EMS providers during EMS Week. In addition to providing a laugh on a busy day, we have some great prizes to give away as well.”

Med Benders is currently available on the iTunes andGoogle Play markets in anticipation of EMS Week which runs from May 18 – 24, 2014.

“EMS personnel have an inherent sense of fun, of humor,” said Limmer Creative Founder Dan Limmer. “As we celebrate EMS Week this year, our colleagues should take the time to have some fun. This is certainly the app to do that with.”
